Now here is my favorite. The Sheriff, Mr. Faron Young. Saw him and met him a few times. Great entertainer. There's a book out by Diane Diekman called The Faron Young Story-Live fast, Love hard. It's a must for Faron's fans, and for all country music fans for that matter. Faron recorded this for Mercury Records.

This is a cut from an album that had Country Stars doing Beach Boy songs. Lorrie recorded this on Feb. 27, 1996. Brian Wilson penned this super hit. Just one of many written by this talented California native.
